bkk UNZINE with its artists celebrate
A friendly marriage with Cataleya Estate,
You stand in what Phoenicians meant by Carthage
An oasis in Bangkok to enjoy Art & Food for all Age.
On display are blossoming passion
A choir of expressions in unison,
Gratitude served as our dish not on the menu
You can covet the Art you wish to bring with you.
From one home of inspiration to another
Shine arms wide and commune together,
By Boris Aravindabalan, Curator of the exhibition

Museum of Confluences and Biodiversity
This first board of the “Architecture and Biodiversity” series is an ode
to the architecture of the Musée des Confluences and the biodiversity listed around it.
The board board takes up architectural elements characteristic of the Musée des Confluences designed by the Austrian architectural agency Coop Himmelb(l)au . This museum is designed as a cloud placed on the border of the Rhône and the Saône .
The species identified around the building are drawn around it using the I-Naturaliste application. More than 15 animal and plant species are represented on the board, including the following list: Asian Corbiculus ( C orbicula fluminea ), Nepeta cataria , Common Catchfly ( Silene vulgaris ), Patience Moth ( Spodoptera exigua ), Grey Heron ( Ardea cinerea ), Velvet-legged Platycnemis ( Platycnemis pennipes ), Blue Centaurea ( Centaurea cyanus ), Variable Securigea ( Securigea varia ), Lonicera japonica ( Lonicera japonica ), Warty Spurge ( Euphorbia verrucosa ), Great Cormorant ( Phalacrocorax carbo ), Red Admiral ( Aglais urticae ), Lestes sponsa .
As a Lyonnaise, architect and ecology researcher, the Confluence Museum is a place that I am particularly fond of for the richness of its exhibitions and collections that I am led to consult as part of my scientific drawing work.

Artistic process
The first step is to set up a composition with a quick sketch. This allows you to set up the broad outlines of the masses and movements of the board. Like a research project, the sketch corresponds to the research hypotheses.
The board then emerges through an alternation of drawings of species from photos using the i-Naturaliste application in colored pencil and then inking of architectural elements.
This process leaves a significant part to the unexpected and to the adjustment of the composition over the course of the realization of the work. It requires a significant letting go and stepping back during the realization of the drawing where the work emerges by itself by escaping the initial ideas. These artistic reflections are aligned with the artistic research at the Atelier d'Action Artistique - AAA led by Didier Jas in Lyon.
